Description

Lancaster University has published its revised strategy in 2013 (http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/strategic-plan/) and has recently celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. The university plays an important role in its UK region directly and via the delivery of major projects to deliver economic impact via exploitation of its research excellence. The university is developing a new Health Innovation Campus (HIC) that will include facilities to enable small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), larger corporates and public bodies such as the NHS already within, and locating to, Lancashire, to access research and development facilities and associated research expertise in the area of health and ageing. The investment proposed is circa £40m for the first phase and up to £167m in total, including grant support from a range of sources.

This tender seeks to procure consultancy services to provide a feasibility report and market demand assessment for an aligned development of an extra care facility linked to the Health Innovation Campus.
