Description
The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is inviting tenders for the provision of urgent repair works to the Moated Manor at Scadbury Park
The standing remains of the Manor house on the island are suffering structural problems, with walls increasingly under stress and the fragile brickwork in need of attention. The brick buildings were demolished in the 18th century but were repaired and partially reconstructed in the 1930s. The site was added to the Historic England Heritage at Risk register in 2014 due to its poor structural condition.
