Description

The purpose of the research is to identify, test and scale up cost-effective means to improve the prediction and monitoring of undernutrition in difficult contexts in a way that enables an effective response. It should build on experiences to date with nutrition surveillance while fostering innovation, creativity and the use of new technology. These approaches are likely to use a combination of routine data from health services to monitor trends, as well as data on climate and food or commodity prices, for example.
