Description

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (the authority) intends to procure a framework agreement for the provision of a hand held 3D wound imaging system. Broadly the system should be able to offer, but not be limited to, 3D wound dimensions, tissue clarifications and wound border definition. The System should also enable reports to be created using the patient data and imaging taken and this should be stored for remote access by multiple parties. The system must conform and must be able to support current NHS Digital (ITK) and future updates, if the system does not currently conform to this it must be working towards this. The tender is anticipated to be undertaken under the open procedure. While it is currently not expected that this contract will be divided into lots, the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub reserves the right to use lots. If this option is utilised the lotting structure will be published in the Contract notice and the tender documents. The Authority intends to apply an appropriate technical threshold and award bidders meeting this threshold to the framework agreement on an unranked basis. Based on current intelligence, it is anticipated that between 1 and 4 suppliers will be awarded. The resulting Framework Agreement will be for both the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (EoECPH) members, and the members of NHS Commercial Solutions (NHSCS) as well as any additional new members to these organisations throughout the duration of any upcoming framework. Subject to successful application for associate membership this Framework Agreement will include, and be for the benefit of any publicly funded (both wholly and partially funded) entity in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. This will include, but is not limited to: Acute, Ambulance, Mental Health, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Care Trusts, Area Teams, Local Authorities, Social Enterprises, private providers delivering an NHS Commissioned Service and Special Health Authorities, HSC in Northern Ireland, NHS Scotland and NHS Wales, including any successor or emerging organisations, which will include but is not limited to the emerging landscape of combined health and social care commissioners and providers. This will include any statutory and other successor organisations to any of the foregoing. As part of its pre-tender strategy, East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub would also like to engage with suppliers of these products via a Request for Information (RFI). If you would like to complete the Request for Information document in respect of the products which are the subject of this procurement, then please register your expression of interest. The Request for Information document will then be sent via email. Applicants will then have 4 weeks from the dispatch of this notice to complete and return the request for information document.
