Description
This opportunity is for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEN/D) Support Services Framework. The Framework is divided into Lot by the primary needs of the child as shown below:
MAIN CATEGORY OF NEEDS FOR CHILD
Lot 1 Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and/ or autism without a learning disability - no presenting challenging or violent behaviours.
Lot 2 Physical, medical disabilities, personal care needs. May or may not have learning disabilities, social communication or challenging behaviours.
Lot 3 Global developmental delay, cognition and learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties with no or minimal behaviours that challenge (but not violent towards others)
Lot 4 Global developmental delay, cognition and learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties with potential behaviours that challenge (may be violent towards others)
Lot 5 Profound and multiple learning disabilities with complex needs including significant sensory disability, autism, communication, physical and/or medical disabilities. No violence or aggression.
Lot 6 Profound and multiple learning disabilities with complex needs (including significant sensory disability, autism, communication, physical and/or medical disabilities. Unable to regulate and risks of escalating into challenging and violent behaviours and potential for escalation into crisis.
Lot 7 Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and/ or autism, severe social communication difficulties without a learning disability. They are vulnerable, their needs involve risk, can escalate and include challenging and potential violent behaviours including self harm to themselves or harm to others.
The Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEN/D) Support Services Framework is a framework of multiple providers (on a non-exclusive basis). There are no restrictions to the number of Providers who may be members of the Framework, only that they meet all the requirements of this Invitation to Tender and Service Specification for the Lot they are bidding..
This Framework is a flexible agreement where, at the sole discretion of the Council, it may open the Framework to allow additional providers to be added to its membership. However, at the discretion of the Council, the Framework may remain closed should commissioners deem there be sufficient providers to meet demand.
The Council makes no guarantee to any member of the Framework that they will be awarded any Call-Off Contract and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such agreements, or in aggregate under the Framework.
Each Provider should understand that their submission constitutes an acceptance of the terms of the Framework Agreement. A place on the Framework merely affords the Provider the opportunity to respond to an invitation from the Council for the provision of services (Call-Off).
