Rate of Pay: Band D £10.27 to £11.98 PAYE to the candidate however open to negotiation

\"Sandwell's Prevention Stores delivers / maintains / services equipment and assistive technology to enable the people of Sandwell to live as independently as they can within their home environment.

As an important front line service working alongside a range of Health & Social Care Services, we are looking to expand our pool of Equipment Technicians who are responsible for a range of different functions within the service.

We have 2 posts available and we are especially looking for candidates who have experience, knowledge or an interest in one or more of the following areas: -

• Working within an office function, liaising with customers, their carers/family and Health & Social Care professionals to book deliveries of equipment or services, arrange collections of unneeded equipment
• The installation, maintenance, servicing of Telecare and Assistive Technology equipment
• The delivery, installation, collection of community equipment such as specialist bed, hoists and other equipment provided to help maintain a person's independence
• The maintenance, servicing and inspection testing of our range of equipment we provide

The service operates 7 days a week (standard hours), including Bank Holidays and successful candidates will be required to work on a rota basis with each post holder required to work one weekend in every six.
