Description
SHREWSBURY FLAXMILL MALTINGS - MAIN MILL & KILN PROJECT PHASE 2
o Structural repairs, re-roofing and repairs/refurbishment to brickwork, windows etc of the Kiln, together with various sections of the Main Mill where not included in Phase 1 contract.
o Refurbishment and fit-out of Main Mill to provide visitor centre, caf? and kitchen on ground floor, with four floors of commercial office space above, with full new services.
o The Kiln will become a large, unheated atrium with reception, new lifts and stairs.
o External works include a new car park, full new drainage and services infrastructure, re-surfacing and other landscape work, and works to retaining walls.
o Delivery of skills training, work placements and public engagement activities will be an important part of this contract
