Description
Brighton & Hove City Council invite contractors to bid on the provision of supplying public health funerals within the location of Brighton & Hove. Section 46 of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 places a duty on a Local Authority to make arrangements for the burial or cremation of any person who dies in its area, where the authority is satisfied that no other arrangements have been made or are being made. This tender is intended to secure a contractor to manage and implement these arrangements on behalf of the Council.
