Description

The University has developed and agreed a Strategic Transformation and Change Programme (TCP) to drive, co-ordinate, support and deliver the necessary changes in University structures, infrastructure, systems, processes and culture.

The programme will be managed and co-ordinated by a newly established team (the Transformation and Organisational Development team) which reports to the Chief Operating Officer and the Vice-Chancellor. The team comprises of a Deputy Director, Programme Manager, Service Excellence Manager and Transformation and Organisational Development consultants.

Working with Teesside University staff to map and critically evaluate the Teesside University student journey from pre-student (pre-enquiry) to post-student (alumni) for all streams of Students. The successful bidder will be expected to:

•Undertake a mapping exercise of the student journey, producing a detailed student journey map. The mapping will:
oProduce an 'as-is' understanding of the student touchpoints
oarticulate key systems and processes associated with the services delivered at these touchpoints
oEvaluate impact (direct or indirect) of current systems and practices on the student journey (highlighting any difference in school practices).
•Identify opportunities for innovation, improvements and efficiencies at each stage of the Teesside University student journey.

Outcomes of the project will be the production of a detailed student journey map, which includes identified processes aligned to the journey and recommended improvements.
