Description
The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) wishes to appoint a contractor to support and maintain its Mitel 3300 VoIP solution (approximately 4,500 extensions) throughout the University campus. The University requires a high quality support and maintenance service that represents good value for money. Due to the nature and complexity of the University's Mitel systems and set up, it is important that the University receives the right level of technical support and expertise for the contract. Therefore bidders are required to consider the following, and must hold the following minimum requirements:
Must have:
1. At least 5 "Technical product training certifications" recognised by Mitel (or equivalent qualifications); and
2. Staff must each have Mitel engineering qualifications and 3 years' experience of servicing Mitel products
UCLan also wishes to enter into a contractual agreement with the successful contractor for maximum period of 4 years. The contract will be on a 2 + 1 + 1 with a rolling 12 month extension after 24months: The initial appointment will be for a two year period, years three and four will be appointed on a year by year basis subject to annual review, suppliers performance and SLA targets being met.
The extension is also subject to any price increases in support charges for the 4 year period: UCLan also reserve the right to re-tender the contract following the initial contract term of two years.
This is an Open EU procurement procedure, the ITT and full specification and supporting documents can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://intendhost.co.uk/universitycentrallancs/aspx/Home
If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend portal. The University will not engage into any open dialogue during this tender process, and completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system. The closing date for return of the tender is 26th February 2016 at 12 noon (UK time). Firms are invited to study the requirement outlined in the tender documentation and provide their best bid to meet the needs identified.
