Description

The Office of the Governor will pay the Contractor an agreed 'fixed sum' for the provision of Security Officers.
The Contractor will provide Security Officers at the site, on a shift basis, to provide basic access control:
- Weekdays:
One officer on a 24-hour shift - Rear Security Entrance
One officer working a day shift, 0800 until 1700 - Front Reception Entry Point
- Weekends & Public Holidays:
1 officer on a 24 hour shift (no day shift required)
It is expected that the Security Officers will have written and conversational English language skills to deal with visitors. They will be expected to carry out security-related tasks, as specified by the Post Security Manager (PSM). On occasions, there will be a requirement to provide additional security officers, this will be requested by the PSM with a least 72 hours' notice, which will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.

2. Open-OJEU tendering process is recommended to ensure value for money. Jaggaer will be used as e-tendering tool, to insure transparency requirement and provide an audit trail. Should potential suppliers express concerns of using e-tendering tool, Hub is happy to hold a boot camp and educate potential suppliers of Jaggaer functionality and technical features, as well as on tender process in general.
