Description
Cambridgeshire County Council invites quotations for the provision of Evaluation of the Neighbourhood Cares Pilot. Cambridgeshire County Council are embarking on a 'Neighbourhood Cares' pilot a new community-based model for delivering social care. This model of social work is informed by the latest thinking developed through the Council's Transforming Lives Strategy and the successful Buurtzorg modal of community care in the Netherlands. The proposed pilot will take place in two patches in Cambridgeshire. One of the patches will be rural and one will be urban, and both patches will have a population of 10,000 people. The two patches that have been selected are Soham (rural) and St Ives (urban). We will be recruiting to the position of Neighbourhood Cares Workers in both communities and will look for people who are enthused by the prospect of working creatively and taking on new challenges, from a range of professional backgrounds.
