Description

1.1 There is a requirement to fund an organisation to develop a set of principles and a corresponding standards framework document that sets out the minimum expectation for services, interventions and programmes delivered to perpetrators of domestic abuse.
1.2 The primary target audience will be those who commission and those who devise and run services, interventions and programmes for domestic abuse perpetrators.
1.3 The principles and standards should be in line with the Government's position on what constitutes domestic abuse as defined in Part 1 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, and the Domestic Abuse Statutory Guidance (when published) and should recognise, that whilst anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, it is women who are disproportionally affected.
