Description

The Authority is seeking to commission a care and support Service for adults (age 18+ ), with a range of needs, who reside in the Bristol Court Extra Care Scheme. The mission of the Service is to provide high quality care and support which enables and encourages Service Users to live as independently as possible within the Scheme for as long as possible. In this context, care and support will include: • Personal care tasks • Domestic tasks • Holistic support • Learning Disabilities care and support • Dementia care and support • Social, recreational, and activity support • Emergency response • Care call response • Short term care and support The contract will be for an initial period of 5 years commencing in August 2019 with an option of a further 3 years extension, in 12-month periods, at the sole discretion of the Authority.
