Description

The proposed works will comprise of civil maintenance repair works and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the external / internal elevations of the lighthouse tower, roof repairs, removal of existing redundant water tank at Esha Ness Lighthouse.

More specifically, the main items of work are as follows:

•Establish welfare facilities.
•Set up site.
•Carry out render repairs
•Carry out roof repairs
•Remove existing balcony handrail, and replace with new one.
•Power-wash all external surfaces to tower and welfare building.
•Carry out minor civil maintenance repair works.
•Replace any damaged rainwater goods and SVP
•Prepare and redecorate externally.
•Prepare and redecorate internally.
•Removal of redundant water tank.
•Demolition of existing store under water tank.
•Demolition of entrance porch to tower.
•Provision of additional storm doors to tower.
•Relocate ariels from porch to tower.
•Fit NLB supplied information panel
•Clear site.
