The aim of this project is to develop guidance and a set of recommendations, outlining the key expectations of training and preparation of midwives to undertake practice supervisor (PS), practice assessor (PA) and Academic Assessor (AA) roles in midwifery effectively and to aim to ensure a positive experience for midwives whilst carrying out the functions of the PS and PA though the development of a framework including best practice examples
