UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) is acting on behalf of the MRC - Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) to give notification of their intention to invite tenders for the following requirement;

The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is seeking a high performance imaging camera to be installed in a relatively inexpensive Philips CM200 microscope running at 100 keV with a side entry stage. The camera is required to have both high detective quantum efficiency and run continuously at a sufficiently high frame rate to allow an exposure with at least 100 electrons per pixel to be recorded in one second.

This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall
