Description

In-Situ Road Recycling is a New Initiative to LCC. The scope of the contract will include services for re-profiling roads to remove irregularities both longitudinally and transversely by pulverising the existing carriageway to depths in excess of 150mm. Commitment to use the resultant contract is subject to available funding and no minimum work will be committed to the supplier over and above an initial set of projects. In the financial year to March 2020, it is anticipated that a total supplier spend in the range of £1.3m could be committed through this contract, based upon an indicative set of works. The programme has aggressive timescales, with a desire to have the successful supplier delivering core services onsite at selected highways by 7th October 2019.
