Description

Surrey County Council on behalf of the Orbis Partnership is seeking to establish a Framework for the delivery of Planned Maintenance Works. Orbis is a partnership between Surrey County Council, East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council that aims to provide seamless and resilient business services to the public sector, creating a compelling alternative to other providers. The Orbis Partnership incorporates the following services: Business Operations, Human Resources and Organisational Development, IT & Digital, Finance, Procurement, Property and Revenues and Benefits

The Contracting Authorities manage and maintain a large portfolio of property. The prime aim of this Framework Agreement is to facilitate the following works:
- Mechanical Services (Including Air Conditioning)
- Electrical Services
- Doors and Windows
- Roofing
- General Building Works. (Including Kitchens refurbishment and renewals)
- Asbestos Removal Works
- Display Energy Certificates (DEC) and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)

The typical range of premises that the Authorities are required to maintain are:

- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- Special Schools
- Adult Residential Care buildings
- Children's Residential Care buildings
- Libraries
- Countryside and Community buildings
- Offices
- Fire and Police Authority buildings

The Framework is intended to be in place for an initial term of 3 years with an option to extend it to 4th year.
