Description

The BFI IMAX building is located in the centre of the Waterloo roundabout in Central London in a prominent position opposite Waterloo Station. It is an iconic site, at the centre of 4 main vehicular routes - including Waterloo Bridge. The building opened as an IMAX cinema in May 1999 and is still in use as a cinema.

In 2012, the operation of the cinema was outsourced. This contract is now up for renewal and the BFI is therefore re-tendering to the market. An in-house bid from a BFI Bid Team will be run alongside the tender process and be evaluated against the same evaluation criteria. This bid will be independently run and submitted.
