Details of services required:
The Council has recently secured funding via the Welcome Back Fund (WBF) and is now seeking to use a proportion of this funding to print new publications and maps currently in the final stages of design.
We are looking to print:
• 20,000 copies of an A5 'Mini Destination Guide'
Specification: 44pp + 4pp cover, cover on 250gs, silk text on 90gsm Bond (Matt Laminate Covers to 1 side only).
• 20,000 copies of an A5 'Discover Winchester District's Market Towns' with a Specification: 44pp + 4pp, cover on 250gsm Silk Text on 90gsm Bond (Matt Laminate Covers to 1 side only).
• 30,000 copies of three different A3 folded independents maps (folded to DL) specific for each market town (10,000 each for Bishop's Waltham, Wickham and Alresford).
Specification: A3 Landscape, printed 4 colours to both sides on 120gsm Uncoated paper.
• All print will need to be carbon captured.
The content and print ready files will be provided by the Visit Winchester team.
• Welcome Back Fund projects must also adhere to ERDF publicity requirements - which include the use of the ERDF logo, which includes the emblem and reference to the fund, and the requirements set on colour use, sizing, visibility and positioning must be followed. The HMG logo must be used alongside the ERDF logo. • We will distribute via distribution companies to regional and national outlets as well as through our visitor information centre.
• All artwork and files will be owned by Winchester City Council.
• Companies will be expected to submit detailed estimates of their projected fees allowing for the client to make changes to proofs.
• Appointed printer to provide printer proofs before final print.
• Printer will need to deliver to five different locations. Including Winchester Visitor Information Centre, Bishop's Waltham, Wickham, Alresford and appointed distribution company.
