Description

London VRU: Girls and Young Women Lot 2 (Evaluation Partner)

The Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit is seeking applications to deliver an evaluation of Lot 2 of the Girls and Young Women Programme. The successful provider will design and deliver a high-quality mixed methods evaluation of the programme exploring both the process of implementation and impact of the programme in relation to its desired outcomes at individual and systems levels.

The VRU have recently invested £1.1 million across two delivery lots investing in programmes that create safe spaces for girls and young women to access support, particularly focused on early intervention and prevention and secondly to upskill teachers and staff working in youth settings to better understand how to take a gendered approach.

The Evaluation partner will be required to work in close collaboration with the appointed delivery partners in order to develop and deliver a suitable evaluation model for this programme, including ensuring adequate capture of monitoring data to inform evaluation.

The VRU is therefore seeking a highly experienced research team with excellent communication skills and a background that shows strong engagement with communities and disadvantaged young people, including proven experience in supporting programmes focused on girls and young women.

The VRU encourage collaborative bids, for example, a research consultancy paired with community and voluntary sector expertise.
