Description

This new Prehabilitation pilot clinical service aims to optimise patients prior to elective cancer major surgery.

In order to deliver a "dose" of intervention, patient groups with a 6 week period in the existing patient pathway have been chosen. These groups are the patients preparing for surgery to the oesophagus, stomach, bladder, rectum, liver (secondary cancers) and gynaecological organs.
