Description
Co-ordinated through the Combined Authority, Sefton Council have applied for grant funding to retrofit poorly insulated homes of low-income Sefton residents. The funding, "Warm Homes : Local Grant", will come from the Department of Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) as part of the government's response supporting the UK Net Zero Carbon by 2050 target.\r

The Warm Homes: Local Grant is a 3-year programme starting in April 2025, but may be extended for a further 2 years, with additional funding. Any extension is expected to be announced in the Spring Budget in March 2025.
