Description
To enable Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (hereinafter referred to as "the Trust") to comply with its statutory duties in respect of the Lifts within its properties, the Trust is required to routinely inspect, test and maintain the Lifts in all owned or managed properties. The inspection, testing and maintenance regime includes, but is not limited to:
- regular checks
- preventative maintenance
- maintenance audits
- repairs
The operational management of the Lifts within the Trust are an important aspect of ensuring Trust operational effectiveness therefore the aim of this procedure is to ensure that lifts belonging to or maintained by the Trust are constructed, operated and maintained to the highest standards.
