Description

The Council will award a 3-year contract to the successful provider for the provision of locksmith services to support a wide range of customers including business tenants, landowners and developers which are within and on the outskirts of the Birmingham city boundary. This portfolio of properties is managed by Birmingham Property Services (BPS). It is anticipated that the contract will commence week commencing 13th January 2020. The successful provider will be a skilled and experienced locksmith(s) and have a successful track record of delivering locksmith services to customers with a similar footprint to the City for both planned and reactive/emergency call out work.

Typical requirements for this service will be legal forced entry, lock changes, lock repair and emergency call out work. The provider will be required to work on commercial, industrial and residential properties and be proficient with locks in timber, aluminium, UPVC and roller shutter doors. The provider will also be required to work on electrically powered locks and roller shutters as and when required.
