Description

To ensure Swindon's road signage asset remains fit-for-purpose, Swindon Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake a refresh of signage in the Old Town area of Swindon. Individual routes within the Old town refresh area include: Kingshill Road; Bath Road; Devizes Road; Newport Street; Drove Road; Cricklade Street; High Street; and Marlborough Road. The refresh will involve, in the main, the removal of redundant signs / posts, the consolidation of multiple smaller signs and the replacement of damaged or deteriorated signs / posts. The appointed contractor will be expected to supply and erect the required signs and posts as part of a complete / integrated package. During the construction period appropriate control and safety measures (including any vehicular or pedestrian traffic management) will need to be in place by the contractor. The works must be completed by Friday 11th December.
