Description

The scope of work comprises the expansion of the existing crematorium building to incorporate a second chapel with link corridor which shall be constructed abutting the existing crematorium building.

The new second chapel is to be constructed to match the external appearance of the existing 1970s building and will be of standard construction with high level glazing and a large central glazed lantern.

The type of organisation required to successfully carry out this project will need to be a well-established main contractor with proven experience of working on similar projects of a sympathetic nature.

It is essential that the main contractor has experience of managing named sub-contractors, has written Health and Safety policies, equal opportunities policies and has ISO 9000 accreditation or similar approved.
