Description

ENGIE Services Ltd on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to provide a study at coastal area located at the Humberston Fitties. The purpose of the study is to look at the options available to mitigate against the erosion of the foreshore to protect the existing defences and to reinstate the sandy beach that traditionally fronted the coastal embankment. The stabilisation of the foreshore and coastal embankment will also ensure that the local natural environment is protected from the effect of erosion of the coastal embankment. There is strong evidence of demolition arisings having been used to reinforce the embankment in the past.
