Description
Hull City Council, on behalf of the HBGH, wishes to commission the delivery of a Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) Pilot targeted at Social Enterprises in the Humber that, with targeted support and guidance, have the capacity for growth.
The Service Provider shall be expected to deliver a programme of high quality support to a group of Social Enterprises across the whole of the Humber Geography.
In-depth one-to-one diagnostics should be used to determine the needs of the client and to develop an action plan of support required to achieve the Social Enterprise's growth ambitions. The completed diagnostic and action plan must be signed and dated by the Social Enterprise's nominated lead as confirmation of agreement.
The programme shall target existing Social Enterprises in the Humber that have the capacity to grow, create jobs and increase productivity.
It is anticipated that the programme shall be delivered from December 2019 with a number of Social Enterprises benefitting over a six month to one year period.
There is an overall target for this activity to engage and support a minimum of 12 Social Enterprises, with each receiving a minimum of 12 hours of support. The impact of this support will then be used to inform the future development of Social Enterprise support available in the Humber through the Growth Hub.
