Major Adaptations within the Borough of Trafford are funded through the Disabled Facilities Grant. This is for all types of domestic properties across the borough regardless of tenure and ownership.
The purpose of the Major Adaptations Service is to ensure that disabled Trafford Residents who meets the criteria of their assessed needs can attain a high level of independence whilst residing in their own home. For example access to bathing facilities.
