Description

Please note this is not a call for competition but a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advise prospective providers of the Authority's current intentions.

As part of this PIN the Authority is releasing a pre-recorded webinar (see below for further details) regarding the Independent Living Services (ILS) - for Registered Social Landlords, Care Homes, Domiciliary Care, Extra Care, and Nursing Provider Markets.

Independent Living Services (ILS) are a new model of housing-with-care services primarily for older people but not exclusively older people. Access to an ILS will be based on need and not on age.

This intended procurement process is for the delivery of ILS in Ely in East Cambridgeshire.

The Authority is at the late pre-market stage and is seeking to update the market on the project and seeking feedback. We believe that providers' input into design work is an important part of the process prior to any formal procurement.

The Authority has a pre-recorded webinar that provides an update in relation to the Independent Living Service project and the current strategy for the future procurement process.

As part of this engagement we are providing a Microsoft Forms Questionnaire to complete by no later than 12:00pm on Tuesday 3rd May 2022. We would encourage early completion of the form to enable the Authority to provide suitable responses for the live event detailed below.

Once you have sent us the form, we will send you an email invitation to our live event which is due to be held on Tuesday 10th May 2022 at 14:00/2:00pm where we will address all matters raised by the completed questionnaires.

Following the live event the Authority may share the draft specifications for market feedback for those that respond to the questionnaire.

The Authority will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers to help inform and finalise the development of the final tender documents

Please initially register your interest via our ProContract E-tendering portal so that you can access the Webinar and Microsoft Forms Questionnaire along with other relevant documentation.

If you have any questions in relation to this Soft Market Testing then please submit these via the ProContract Messaging System.

Please not details of the current intended Lot structure is detail in the Find A Tender link below and the pre-recorded webinar.
