Description
KCC requires a suitable provider to investigate what impacts excess childhood weight in BAME communities in the following areas:
MSOA's in Gravesham and Dartford MSOA's in Swale, Dover and Thanet
We would like a suitable provider to understake, interviews and/or focus groups to understand the particular cultural or ethnic practices, cultural or ethnic expectations and perceptions, family relationships such as grandparents, or age of parents which are impacting on the excess weight of children in the above districts. We would also like to understand if the issues affecting those children with excess weight differs between Gravesham/Dartford districts compared with Swale, Dover and Thanet districts.
