Description
Preamble
Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing Project (SAM Project) is a ?5.1M funded project (ERDF and University of Sunderland). The project is to support product / process development and implementation of technology for SME manufacturers within the NE LEP area.
The support covers several work streams:
1 Practical engagement - utilisation of a Design or Process & Supply Chain or Maintenance Specialist for a minimum of 2 days in support of an issue for quick support resolution (Fully Funded)
2 Research Support - development of a product or process using research support from the academic skills within the University giving the SME the IP developed (Fully Funded)
3 Grant - ?800K available in matched funded support for capital / validation processes or introduction of technology
4 Capital technology centre - ?1M of capital available to support SME use for R&D work based within The Industry Centre, University of Sunderland (Fully Funded)
5 Supply Chain Potential - New products to market will be developed and issued for the regional SME's to become new suppliers to a developing market for growth (Fully Funded)
This project envisages engagement with over 400 SME Manufacturers across the North East and is an integral part of the Regional Strategy for growth.
Overall Requirement
LOT 1: Specification for Authority Hydraulic Training Rig
Quoted Systems Should address
1. Basic to advanced hydraulics
2. Basic to advanced electro hydraulics
3. Proportional hydraulics.
4. Be able to demonstrate design, fault finding and interconnectivity.
5. Have the ability to demonstrate connectivity to Industry 4.0 infrastructure.
6. Double sided panel on wheels, to enable both sides to be used at the same time with a minimum of 4 people, with bench space.
And should include the following,
o Pressure controlled valves
o Distribution Valves
o Flow Control Valves
o Range of Actuators (including, double acting, various sizes)
o Control Units/modules
o Range of connecting cables and hoses
o Ability to introduce faults and diagnose faults
o Interconnectivity with PLC's and IoT devices
o Storage units for both components and hoses including drip trays
o Portable hydraulic motor
o Full range of training materials, including Lecture notes, student manuals with unlimited reproduction.
o Relevant software for design, simulation and fault finding.
o Comprehensive training package for staff.
o 3 Year Warranty
o Full Service agreement, including support provision, including onsite engineering support within 24hrs of request.
o Complete parts list, with quality used on rig and individual prices identified.
o Maintenance requirements
