Description

A project to deliver, as part of the Sutton Town Centre Heritage Action Zone (HAZ), a Research programme to underpin and support Sutton Town Centre's local requirements by improving our understanding of, and promoting,utton's historic environment.

This project will undertake research to understand how Sutton Town centre has grown and developed. The winning contractor will carry out a level 3 Historic Area Assessment (HAA) and a review of the LBS's extant historic characterisation (LBC 2008). A project GIS with related database will be produced so that the results can be integrated with LBS's own GIS and the Greater London Historic Environment Record (GLHER).
