Description
Marketing services required
LCR Activate is a three year project to accelerate the growth of small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the Digital and Creative ('tech') Sector from across the Liverpool City Region (LCR) via the application of cognitive computing, big data/high performance computing, merging data and cloud technologies. This will be delivered via a series of interlinked activities that will lever and maximise the use of under exploited existing and potential LCR digital sector assets.
This ERDF-funded project is led by Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in partnership with The Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) and the LCR Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). It will lever the world class capabilities at STFC's Hartree Centre and other key innovation assets, working closely with the Local Growth Hub.
In order to meet its targets, the project need to have a steady stream of SMEs referred into it through whatever channels are available. The delivery staff of the project then deliver an array of business and innovation support to these businesses based on briefs put together at initial scoping meetings.
Therefore the LCR project require Marketing Services, the appointed company will coordinate existing relevant resources at the partner organisations and fill any gaps in provision, in order to attract SMEs to the project. This may entail marketing, PR, communications, events and brand development throughout the duration of the Contract. The supplier will also be required to promote the project's success stories through publicity opportunities, generating interest at local, regional and national level in order to enhance the Liverpool City Region's reputation as a hub for advanced technologies in the Digital and Creative industries.
There are already many existing networks and groups operating in the Digital and Creative sector across the Liverpool City Region and it is important that effort is not duplicated; rather, LCR Activate's marketing and other activities should be woven into what already exists and compliment those things, rather than attempting to compete with them
