Description

Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group ("the CCG") are seeking to engage with potential providers of emergency cover for GPs' protected learning time across Oxfordshire.

The medical cover, equivalent to the Saturday afternoon Out of Hours Service and with access gained via NHS 111, covers 67 practices within the CCG boundary and will include the same ratio of telephone to base visit appointments, with the potential for some home visits in the South East where provision is currently not provided. This cover is expected to occur on the first Tuesday of every month for 2 hours and anticipated to start in October 2020 and run from 1800 - 2000.

The contract is for 6 months plus an optional extension of any period up to 6 months.

The contract value is estimated to be £25,000 for a 6 month contract.
