Description

Highways England is looking to engage a technical supplier for the provision of research to be able to assess customers' Willingness to Pay for different qualities of road surface. This will be estimated by commissioning a piece of contingent valuation research. These values will then be used to help inform our investment decisions about when, and how to renew pavements on our network.
This research is the pilot for a wider scope of research to be carried out over the coming years. As such, there is a requirement to design the research with a robust methodology that would allow it to be applied in other priority areas.
