Description

The Client Wolverhampton City Council is delivering new council housing developments across the City on former garage sites and small infill pockets of land.
The Client has identified a site for the development of council housing using modular construction methods.
Wolverhampton Homes is an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO), wholly owned by the City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) and will be acting as the Clients representative/agent.
The Client's experience in the delivery of new council housing using modular construction methods is still developing and to ensure that the Client meets its business plan objectives, the Client will need to rely upon the successful company to produce good quality designs and be able to offer practical design advice based on their experience gained from working within this market.
The successful company will be required to design the scheme, progress the scheme to full planning consent stage, and deliver on site through to Practical Completion.
The proposed form of contract for this requirement will be NEC Option A and Tenderers are deemed to be familiar and in possession of a copy of this form.
