This contract is for the upgrade and re-instatement of the Trust's Fire Compartmentation in order to reflect alterations and works over the previous years. The aims and objectives are as follows:
Ensure the protection of the Hospital's fire evacuations routes and high risk areas
Increase the safety of all patients, visitors and staff within the building
Ensure that the Trust complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other such statutory regulations and guidance documentation
To comply with Estates and Facilities Alert DH/2014/003
to satisfy Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service of the Trust's commitment to rectify compartmentation breaches following the recent Fire in the Outpatients Department in the Main Walton Building
