Description

Solihull Community Housing (SCH) is looking to appoint a suitable contractor (Gas Audit Consultant) to provide assurance that the Gas Safety Checks and Servicing and Maintenance of Gas Appliances, as undertaken by our appointed Contractor, has been carried out to an acceptable standard in accordance with current legislation and best practice. SCH's objective is to ensure that, as a Social Housing Landlord, it complies with current best practice and fulfils its requirement to appoint an independent Gas Audit Consultant.

The appointed Gas Audit Consultant will be required to carry out Gas Quality Audits of both domestic and commercial heating systems located within residential, office and commercial buildings within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull.

SCH anticipates that the Contract shall commence 1 April 2019; the proposed term of the Contract will be for an initial 2 year period up until 31 March 2021. There will be an option to extend the initial period by up to a further 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.

SCH estimates the annual contract value to be in the region of £32,000.
