Description

Cherwell District Council ('the Authority') is inviting Tenders for the replacement of artificial turf pitches at North Oxfordshire Academy, Banbury and Cooper Sports Facility, Bicester in accordance with the attached documents.

The North Oxfordshire Academy Sports Facility was previously called the Drayton School, Drayton Road, Banbury. The United Learning Trust (ULT) now operates the newly refurbished North Oxfordshire Academy after Oxfordshire County Council transferred ownership to the ULT.

The Cooper School Sports Facility in Bicester was previously operated by Oxfordshire County Council however this recently transferred ownership and responsibility to the 'Bicester Learning Academy'.
Both Facilities are used for 'Home' Fixtures for the thriving Hockey Clubs within the District (Banbury Hockey Club and Bicester Hockey Club.)The venue at the North Oxfordshire Academy is primarily used for Hockey training (with some football use), however the Facility at Cooper School is very much offered up as an equal football/hockey surface)
Visits at both Facilities would be circa 40,000 users per annum.
