Description

Somerset County Council, as accountable body for the Heart of the South West and West of England Local Enterprise Partnership, will hold a supplier engagement event prior to commencing any procurement exercise.

SCC intends publishing an Contract Notice to commence the procurement exercise during 2016:
• Purpose - To deliver an SME business support programme to enable SME's within the 2 LEP regions to access opportunities to be part of the HPC Supply Chain.
• Duration - up to 3 years (36 months). There may be extension options dependant on funding sources and contract performance.
• Value - the indicative value of the contract is given as £2,000,000. Note - at the time of publishing this notice the funding contribution from the 2 LEPs is in the region of £1,000,000. Further funding contributions may be realised from other participating authorities.
