Description
Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust are issuing a request for information for suppliers of video-conferencing based CBT therapy. Suppliers should submit an interest and submit a response on the DueNorth portal for this opportunity. The submission should provide an overview of their service with indicative costing models for the service.
Barnet and Enfield IAPT currently offer two forms of digital therapy:
Silvercloud - Step 2 only. Module based online resources for a number of specific mental health difficulties, supported by BEH IAPT psychological wellbeing practitioners every 2 weeks, either online or over the phone.
IESO digital therapy - Step 2 and Step 3. Text based (messenger) therapy provided by IESO clinicians, with sessional notes and outcomes recorded on IAPTUS for us to count as part of our monthly data uploads.
High waiting times for both services mean that we are now looking for alternative digital provision to expand patient choice and help to stabilise wait lists. It is expected that referrals to the service will initially be between 10-15 per month in each service.
The service is looking for a provider who offers a cloud-based video-conferencing platform for step 2 and step 3 therapy, which adheres to NICE guidance and nationally recommended standards of clinical supervision and information governance. The provider must supply its own therapists and these therapists must be registered with the required professional bodies of their profession. The provider must offer a flexible, value for money service and be able to increase supply of therapeutic interventions in accordance with demand, with the options of lower fees for upfront payment in bulk as well as a pay per session pricing model.
