Description

Wolverhampton City Council are procuring on behalf of the Amethyst Academies Trust a suitable contractor to undertake Phase 2 alteration works to the existing school buildings at Aldersley High School as part of an on-going expansion programme.

The actual works comprise the conversion of the existing swimming pool building with the building being height increased to allow the construction of a 2 storey classroom block creating new teaching rooms. The works shall include all Design and Construction of all architectural works, structural works, mechanical and electrical services and all external works, services and ancillary works detailed or implied in the Employers Requirements and associated ancillary and temporary works.

The works will require alteration to building service connections, external works, drainage and any other works outlined or implied within the Employer's Requirements including discharge of all planning conditions.

It is the intended that a JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 with amendments will form the basis of the contractual terms and conditions between the Amethyst Academies Trust and the successful contractor.
