Description

The consultancy would provide independent evaluation of current process and datasets to then support development of an evidence based framework for advising on adverse effect on habitat from air pollution. This is in light of current legal challenge and recent caselaw that has resulted in active challenge to current approaches to advising on air pollution impacts. This is a Natural England project that would contribute to KPIs on transparency, capability building and delivery of chargeable advice as well as Conservation 21 objectives for landscape resilience. The work will also be useful for fulfilling Defra commitments within the clean air strategy for advice to local authorities.
