Description

The works consist of the Queens Building Re-roofing and associated works. The below Schedule of Works relates to the re-roofing of the central atrium area of the Queens Building, including any associated works required for the replacement of the roof and its insulation requirements to meet with the current building regulation standards or better. Including leadworks, parapet repairs and repointing as required to joints and verges. The contractor is to engage with their own M&E sub-contractor to deal with any plant, pipework or lightning protectors as part of their works. Part of these works includes timber repairs and decoration to previously painted area including, window, doors / door frames, soffits and facia boards etc this list is not exhaustive and is to be read in conjunction with the Dulux specification and workmanship clauses. The Building will be occupied during the course of the works. Carful coordination will be required for shut downs within the building such a mechanical and electrical connections. The contract should factor this into their delivery of the project. The Contractor is to allow for out of hours working as required to deliver the project.
