Description

Accent is inviting proposals for the replacement of its Wide Area Network (WAN) in the form of an Open procedure as defined by Public Contract Regulations 2015. The opportunity has been advertised on the OJEU Tenders Electronic Daily and Crown Commercial Services Contract Finder websites. The competition is open from 12:00 noon 9th December 2016 to 12:00 noon 20th January 2017.

The new WAN will form the foundation layer to support our new unified communications infrastructure. Without a fit for purpose WAN enabling a modern innovative communications system our ability to provide a good service would be compromised. It should be noted that both this and our unified communications project, Accent Connect, are being procured in broadly the same time-frame, and in order to fully support the roll-out of Accent Connect, our objective is to complete the WAN implementation in the summer of 2017.
