Brief Description of Requirement

This project will develop a robust evidence base on costs and benefits of rooftop solar for households and small businesses, and what this implies for routes to supporting low-cost financing for installations. This is in the context of the British Energy Security Strategy (BESS) commitment to facilitate 'low-cost finance from retail lenders to drive rooftop [PV] deployment'.

The project will help provide the numerical evidence base to inform decisions and formal economic appraisal on how policy intervention could support more affordable financing for rooftop PV.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
