Description

The University of Sheffield's Department of Chemistry with funding from EPSRC are looking to procure a suite of instruments that enables TGA-DSC measurements to be combined with evolved gas analysis by MS and IR spectroscopy.

TGA = thermogravimetric analysis
DSC = differential scanning calorimetry
MS = mass spectrometry
IR = infra-red

The suite of instrument(s) should be provided with necessary computer control and software for operation and data analysis. The instruments should operate in conjunction with each other to provide an overall analysis of mass loss, calorimetric measurements and evolved gas analysis in a single experiment.
